Wix Is Brimming With New Content
Wix, a fast growing company that specializes in creating free Flash websites has been busy updating their website builder with lots of new content and features.

During the first couple of weeks in the New Year, Wix has been busy updating their website builder with lots of new content and features.
The wix.com website builder has a graphic user interface that makes it possible for anyone to create a website from scratch in Flash. Over 2.7 Flash website designs have already been created using this powerful tool and Wix is busy enhancing their service, making it relevant for an even larger demographic.
Amongst the new improvements are is a new accordion gallery option as well as a set of new transitions, including a page flip, guillotine transition, fade out, ease, zoom in, woosh, elastic glow and more. Also, a set of new skins is being introduced to the website builder, including gallery skins and area skins that are of great assistance in creating the backbone of the website's web design.
Other additions are more attuned towards the content aspects of web creations, such as new photos (yoga images), new icons (in grunge and sketch styles) and new background music.
Most of these additions are a direct result of the open channels of communication between Wix employees and Wix users. Wix has recently introduced a new section to the website where users can easily receive updates on new developments as well as enter a wish list where they are invited to suggest new features and improvements to the website creator.
The new Yoga images for example are a direct result of popular demand. Each of the wish list items is ranked by popularity and users are invited to support existing wish list items, pushing them up the list of priorities. Wix CEO Avishai Abrahami explains "It was important to us that we initiate the new year with a series of improvements that are a direct result of our strong ties with our users, demonstrating our commitment to them and responding to their direct needs and requests. This is a new year, and we want to make our agenda clear and demonstrate that our users are our top priority."
